Independence Day Blog

15th August is celebrated as Independence Day every year. We celebrated 63rd anniversary of our Independence but the question arises how many of youth participated in this celebration. India is a country of youth and the youth of India should actively participate in this national festival.

If I would have been the Prime Minister of India I would have declared it as a youth festival which the slogan would have do or die of Gandhi ji for the country. I would never choose any destination for the celebrationof Independence Day because the best place for the celebration for the youth is their own school, college, and organisation.this is because schools, colleges and organisation are the hub of the youth from where they get education for building t6heir career as well as the future of the country. It should be celebrated in each and every schools, colleges, govt. and private buildings etc. where the youth can actively participate and celebrate this holy day with pomp and show every year.

'Betwa River in the city of Orchha, Madhya Pradesh'

Betwa is a tributary of river Yamuna and originates from the Vindhya ranges. Flowing through Madhya Pradesh, it joins Yamuna at Hamirpur town in Uttar Pradesh. It is also known as Shuktimati, the river has found mention in the ancient epics like Mahabharata.

Rudra Pratap, a powerful king of the Bundela dynasty, chose the banks of Betwa river to build up the city of Orchha, which later became the capital of his empire. Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Raj Praveen Mahal and Phool Bagh gardens are some of the attractions in Orchha, lying near to Betwa river.
Currently, the Betwa River is being merged with the Ken River as a part of the river linking project in Madhya Pradesh. Another noteworthy project on the Betwa River is the construction of the Matatila Dam, an undertaking between the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh
